I purchased the floor pad for the Northseeker, which is intended to help prevent items on the bottom of the main compartment from being damaged when setting down the bag. The pad is made quite well and the padding is sufficiently thick and very firm. However, I found it to be too short to caver the entire bottom, leaving about two inches of unprotected space (one inch on each end when centered).
